PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I would characterise it thus:
Yewnited have millions of fans all round the world for historical reasons, but City have the influence. Young players want to join City and play for Pep. Who is craving to play for Stretford? World coaches watch City to see how they could improve their team, nobody takes the slightest notice of the failing rags.
We are a watchword for excellence, the rags are noted for their debt. City have developed a campus of which many teams are jealous, the reds have a stadium which is notoriously crumbling. And so on ad infinitum.

Their manager didn’t want to go there until the end of the season as he was on a good run with his team. The rags demanded you either do it now or we look elsewhere, proof they ain’t a pull anymore.

I think its proof that he doesnt quite believe in himself as much as he maintains, they had been turned down by 6 other managers they went for that turned them down so if he was as wanted as he thought he was he could have said no.

He immediately adopted the “We are the biggest club in the world” meme. The exact opposite of what was required.

I'm sure his 2 million a year salary plus whatever the cartel pay him, more than makes up for it.
We are the brain worm in his head every waking and sleeping hour every day & night.

Peeps will look at him a know he's a fourth choice, shallow, yes man ****, bought & paid for by yanks.

Public Humiliation beckons !!

Could our expected spend be linked to the compensation from the APT case ? Is there any chance we know more about the result than we are being told as yet ?

These signings and or general financial position and the fact Liverpool will loose Salah Trent and VVD. We just need to get over the line in this case

I think we know without question mate and probably have new sponsorship deals signed as well.

The answer to your first paragraph will be 'No'.

I don't understand your point with the second paragraph?

Edit: have you posted in the wrong thread?

Indonesian Restaurant last night on a v small island off Columbo.

Young Hostess asked 'Where from" ?

"Manchester"

"Ahh, Erling Haaland", followed by photos of him on her phone etc.

The kids love City & him....we're MASSIVE !!
Despite what is common currency in the English media there are tens and hundreds of thousands worldwide who think our club and the football played is of the highest standard.

Our spending is reflecting our commercial success and income generated by success on the field - league titles, CL, world cup.
Organic and based on a history of success as the rags and dippers would say.

Another 10 years of the current situation could eclipse United. Plenty of big brands have crashed and burned over the years. Ratcliffe must know this.

The man is a master of his subject. Very impressive and he didn’t mention acquiring a left back once.
Khaldoon is our greatest asset. It’s a shame he doesn’t do more upfront interviews for City. I know it’s a tiny part of his role but football does have a lot of global impact on people’s lives.

He speaks brilliantly but in a way where there isn't a great deal of substance to it either. Standard football style interview with actually little to it but spoken beautifully. I could listen to him all day however I don't get excited for the end of season reviews, him answering questions he has lined up.

the less someone speaks the more impact it has when it does. To quote a book:

He is a watcher, a listener. He pays attention without seeking it and knows far more about you than you do him. That quiet man is a dangerous man.

Definitely think Nick, Martin & Tarik have one-upped this fella:

Thanks for posting this.

The shabby scribblers would have you believe that this guy is a serial fraudster, not a fit and proper person to run a football club, that City is nothing more than a front to wash his country's reputation.

Meanwhile...

This is the acceptable face of football.

I would like him to go on the front foot after the 115 case as he has promised. He is a smart operator.
