PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

rag cafe has worked themselves up into a frenzy, were getting an 80 point deduction sometime during this season or for the start of next along with a transfer ban of 3 windows, what proves the transfer ban is tying Haaland down on his long term contract and splashing the cash in January

Their head's will fall off when we're cleared then go on a summer rebuild!

I cant take anything Stefan says seriously. If I am honest I find him depressing. It is nothing personal . He is clearly a highly educated bloke but for me 100% sold his soul to the devil when he started appearing on talksport. As I say nothing personal. He isn't somebody I would love to go for a pint with etc . They say people tend to stick to their own type. I am not the brightest lad in the world but his opinion is clear. He sits right on the fence so he can't be open to criticism post result. Very clever man and clearly highly educated on a lot of legal stuff. Not 1 person knows the result as of yet. It is all opinion.
Careful. I got banned from the city launch legal action against the prem thread for saying similar

Sounds as if you want him to say something you want to hear (as a worried Blue) rather than tell it as it is. There is no definitive answer to any of the cases we’re involved in because legal issues often have unexpected outcomes & nobody knows the likely outcomes yet (although I’m sure Khaldoon has the QCs’ ears) . Stefan has to put both sides & whether you like it or not there ARE two sides to the cases - the press & rival fans taking one extreme (we’re guilty); City fans taking the other extreme (we’re totally innocent). Stefan tries to explain both sides reasons for their opinions.

Surely with all the information at hand for Stefan he doesn’t have to sit on the fence, or run with the cowboys or Indians.

I'd put him on ignore if you are that offended. Give everyone a break.

He didn’t have any more information than you; me & the press. So he has to just give his opinion - in the same way the press have done. I find some of the recent articles about the APT judgement a bit unsettling- especially the Draper one in Times that was put on here for us to read. We DO seem to have won some points but other issues appear to be unaffected & don’t change much - which is what Stefan has pointed out.

i think at the end of the day he's just giving a ballanced view, yes he didnt think we would win the APT or certainly said it would be unlikely but again its his view so you either dismiss it or take it in,its another point of view if you like and thats what this thread is for 'points of view surrounding the case'

And what about all the other clubs that only passed PSR due to 0% interest shareholder loans that should have been excluded?
This is the one !!

Thirteen clubs may have grounds to claim compensation from the PL if they feel they've been disadvantaged by interest free loans from club shareholders.

Retrospective 'commercial risk' interest payments from advantaged clubs will see some of them fail PSR and then sueing, counter sueing & counter counter seeing could ensue.

This is the one !!

Hahaha it will kill them when we spend 300m in the summer and they have to sell to buy

I look forward to it.

My main hope is all the Liverpool or United fans who have said (without being privy to any evidence) that if City do not receive a proper punishment, they will stop following football are as good as there word.

They say it as if they think someone will care they stop and also I doubt a single one of them willl.
