Before anyone (save a few people who did know) knew who TH was until he "came out" last year, people wondered if he worked for the club, worked for people attached to the club, was a journalist, agent, there was all sorts of theories.
Now we know he was a journalist, you can appreciate his "hit rate" is much like any of the other gossip columnists or Kaveh types. Some people lap that stuff up, others rightly call it what it is.
Other than Hughes and Haaland, most of the big ones have been wrong (I'm not counting the fleeting mentions of "he's the sort of player we'd be looking at") - Messi, Bellingham, Pogba the big three I remember but there's easily two or three more.
Personally I don't think he's a WUM, but equally I don't think he posts in good faith either. The move to Twitter, blue check mark, once Musk opened up payments for "impressions" suggested motive to monetise but as someone else said, you get eaten alive on X and don't have mods there to protect you from pile ons.
