PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Whatever happened to the Carters Arms, I used to go there but I thought it had gone last time I went past.
Carters Arms is on Northenden Road in Sale Moor. It's the Farmers Arms in Northenden.

The Church, Jolly Carter, The Spread Eagle, The Tatton, The British Legion all gone in Northenden.

Sorry, I’ve failed. I don’t remember the Carters. Where was it?
I used Google maps it was the Jolly Carter and it is long gone.

My mum was a barmaid in the Jolly back in the late 70s/early 80s.

Yes, I guessed it was that one. I remember it on Royal Green Road, but I never went in there. My dad used it.
My locals were Farmers Arms on Longley Lane, Tatton Arms on Mill lane, now demolished, and The Royal Thorn on Altrincham Road, now demolished.
Large swathes of Northenden were subject to restrictive covenants. There were no pubs on Palatine road or to the west of it, creating a large dry housing estate.

I lived in Wythenshawe and going to Nortehnden or Altrincham at that time was going up market, for us anyway.

Anyone here go to the Hospital club in Wythenshwe? It was like the only place that stopped open after pubs closed.

thought the window opens 2 weeks later
my understanding is that they voted for it at the last League meeting, but it was for everyone in the league not just us and Chelsea.

I may be wrong but I'm sure I read it on here somewhere between watercress bacon sandwiches and Jamaica Rum chocolate bars from yester year.

Northenden primary was Bazeley Road, just off Lingard Road. I started there in 1952. Head teacher Miss D.N. Hampshire. Teachers of note: Mrs Freeman, Mrs Sykes, Mr. Haddock.
I believe it is now a community school.
My memory is available for hire.
I thought it was but wasn't sure. We called you barely bug house and you called us the cow shed.

The tattoo arms is still there. Just extremely dilapidated.
