PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

“Innocent” is not likely to be a word used by the arbitration panel regardless of the outcome.

Can you do it again for “charges not proven”?
It'll be spun a lot more than charges not proven. The PL and all the red media will have a narrative that we were guilty as charged, but got off on a technicality.
Mind you, I suspect they'll overcook it and end up looking silly.

Corned Beef, just flush it down the toilet and at least you don't have a horrible taste in your mouty
I don't have it very often but I do like it, I love chopped pork as well, probably more so than Corned beef.

All this talk of sliced 'meat' is not getting us any closer to a verdict, unfortunately :)

Khaldoon can afford to be confident without hearing anything official. He will be aware of the evidence on both sides and City's stance is our evidence is irrefutable. There is no room for doubt here. He will know what exactly we have been accused of and what our response is so I think the club can feel confident despite hearing nothing official. If I was accused of murder but there is CCTV footage of me enjoying a beer on a different continent at the time I can be pretty sure of my innocence plus more importantly i would know if I've done it or not. I don't need a wink from a judge to believe my irrefutable evidence and my own knowledge of the facts will mean I will be found not guilty.

Of course Khaldoon may be mistaken about what our evidence demonstrates but I think he will trust in the panel.

On the face of it some of the allegations should be easy to disprove. Mancini either had a contract logged with the league secretary or he didn't. I can't believe it took 10 years for anyone to notice that. I guess the argument from the EPL is that the contract they had wasn't the right one but I'm inferring that because we don't really know enough about the detail. Khaldoon will though and I'm sure someone will have sat the relevant people down and asked them pretty direct questions

Can't wait for this crappy thread to be a thing of history.

Never will be... It'll find its way into the Classic thread section.... Has to doesn't it?

It’ll probably just become a constant running thread. I’m sure @Ric will cull it down from 10,000 pages at some point but there’ll be another 2 years for the appeals/media posturing, the thousands of articles about how football is dead now etc. people like Tebas will never be short of words about it when they want to stir up some shit. FSG, the glazers, Levy will always have something to say.

It’ll be back in the news every time a club like villa, Leicester, Everton get in PSR/FFP problems.

This thread will be going in some form until 2030.
