Not basing it on trophies instantly makes it irrelevant as they’re the most important thing. Arsenal could look like prime Barca for 8 months but if they crumble when it matters they’re nowhere near any top side ever.

Our Pellegrini title winning team is better than any Arteta side.

It was hard to compete with having so many players injured, on the operating table or half fit and having to play. But a lot of City fans seem to forget that. In the end we did well to finish third and win more games than Arsenal
 
Maybe a daft question as I'm clueless on these matters, but I'll ask it anyway. 5 of the Premier League's 115 charges levied against City relate to non-compliance with UEFA's Club Licensing and FFP rules. In recent memory UEFA have sanctioned Trafford United, Aston Villa and Chelsea. As those clubs have not been compliant with UEFA rules, why haven't they too been charged by the Premier League?
 
All these tables and stats mean jack shit. Made up crap to make yesterday's teams relevant. Being top and winning trophies are the only thing that matters. Everything else is utter shit . End of.

It's nothing to do with failing FFP itself. The PL rules require the submission of accurate financial information to them as they assess FFP compliance. If they think we've not done that (and they are alleging we haven't) then we're in breach of those rules. Doesn't matter whether we'd have passed FFP or not even if the information had been accurate.

And people also forget that to win everything in the game, and to keep winning, breaking all records, and then to go again, is uniquely demanding mentally and physically. What we have done has NEVER been done. We can be disappointed with last season AND realistic - to finish third in such a scenario with a fit squad would be a very solid result. To do it in the face of a chronic injury and illness list (no doubt including mental fatigue) is something to be content with and to learn from, as it looks like we have done and are doing.

Many of Ferguson's years were before the PL existed. He managed them for 21 years in the PL, compared to Pep's nine years so far.

Yes, I understand he was managing them before the premier league started in 1992.

However, 810 points over twenty one years compared to Pep's 787 points over nine years is gash as fuck.

Especially when you hear the media and pundits asking the question "who is the greatest manager of all times in the premier league?"

Well it's not the pisscan. That's for sure.

I think you’re referring to Murray Rosen KC,he’s not on the panel of the IC…..he’s the one the PL use to select who will be on the panel and yes he’s apparently an Arsenal fan,but I’m not 100% about this.
 
surely the panel is taking some holiday in the summer. each of them at different times. this will delay the whole thing by months.

wtf is the status of Chelsea's case tho as that was supposed to be done way before our case. not a word on that either.
