PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes, and the cynics amongst us did wonder whether, by issuing the charges, the PL wasn't trying to make the point they could be trusted to regulate themselves.
I’m definitely one of those cynics, except I didn’t wonder, I was convinced. That makes the two things connected in my eyes. It’s all going to blow up in their faces, city will win, fight back AND the government will get their independent regulator. Incompetence on a massive scale.

If it was a 1 page document we would know now, it’s the writing up off a 10 week trail in a way that will be read like no other case before and the losing party will have the best lawyers looking for any fault.

This is way it is taking so long!

That said…

Tomorrow?
Any Monday now surely?

I see yes, wonder who his going to go to now . Don't quite understand, was he guilty or not and if not why can't he claim compensation of some sort.
They've not actually released the findings yet on Paqueta although they're supposedly "due soon". Sky reckon "with ruling expected to predominantly go his way" so not totally cleared and there seems little doubt that an investigation was warranted so no chance of "compensation".
