Hard to see how these guys have been isolated in a papal conclave for 9 months. It is highly likely that contact at least indirectly has taken place between the panel and interested parties. While no official definitive communication will have taken place it may well be that the powers that be have formed in their minds the likely contours of the result.
The PL may well have relayed this perspective to cartel members who then decided to loosen the purse strings. They may have reasonably decided that, if not abolition, significant changes to the PSR rules are in the pipeline.

Thre will be some interesting conversations in the directors box at Old Trafford next weekend.

There are 130 odd charges apparently, they just screwed up counting them originally and 115 had already stuck. Or there are 4 or 5 main charges but spread over a decade or two so multiplied many times.

Who knows, who cares.

I've said before that there are 3 substantive charges, under two main headings, with another 2 charges totally dependent on those initial 3. Then there's the non-cooperation one. These are spread over multiple rules and multiple seasons.

The first set, which are potentially the most serious, seem to involve (possibly among other things) whether Etihad and the other Abu Dhabi companies were related parties. But that shouldn't take long to decide as it's a binary choice. They're either related or they're not. They can't be a bit related.

I would suspect City had very specific emails in mind that they had knowledge of and probably wondered whether they would be handed over or conveniently lost, which would have been fantastic if it happened and we pulled them out and queried why they’d failed to disclose them

Is there a scenario whereby we we are only found guilty of non co-operation but get stuck with the legal costs?

Did the CAS not fine us the 10 mil for non co-operation on the basis that we could have avoided the hearing by providing the requested evidence to UEFA (not withstanding our reasons for not doing so)?

It would largely depend on the extent, duration and any associated mitigation in relation to the non co-operation.

A costs award is often the most telling part of a determination. It’s a forum for an arbiter of fact to really stick the boot in, if they think it is warranted. Can often be utterly ruinous to the recipient.

Courts will usually shave quite a bit off the sum claimed. I’ll let others deduce why.

If a judge departs from that, then the recipient of that costs award has behaved like a ****.

If the PL have acted like cunts, then applying that principle, and the laws of natural justice, City should get most of their costs back.

That mistake we’re repeating did net us about 15 trophies.

People are acting like we can’t win trophies with a stand in fullback and the last 9 years shows that to be false.

I would feel more comfortable with Livramento or someone similar, but Pep wouldn’t go into the season with a squad he thought couldn’t win everything.
