He also said we were wrong to challenge APT because we are members of the PL. Then when the case gets heard and he sees the outcome, he agreed with City. That APT was set up to protect the elite

Today was a very good day today for me as a University of Michigan fan. I have compared our issues with the premier league to the issues Michigan faced with the NCAA. We had a year and a half of a case where we were accused of cheating and everyone wanted the book thrown at us. I was always convinced that nothing major would come of it. No title stripped or wins removed yet all the haters were convinced we were going to be destroyed. Today came and the ncaa rules that while we did break some rules, our biggest issue was not complying with a league hell bent on bending us backwards.
It’s not a direct comparison as we accused of financial chicanery, but the reaction from all the other fan bases to this witch hunt reminds me of what I have been dealing with in the Michigan case. But, today has been sweet and I’m loving the salty tears tasting from my enemies and I hope that when our verdict here is delivered, I can gloat the same way and taste all the enemies tears!!!!

They’re just offering a free bet to anyone who bet a team would win the league (but who then came second to City) for the last 8 times we won it. It’s just a sales ploy.

There’s nothing wrong with that if that’s what they want to do. The video ad seems to take the piss out of other teams’ fans as well. City can’t do anything about it because they would have to prove something we’re all waiting for and it’s just not worth it. That said, it probably won’t go unnoticed and I am certain that things will happen should the verdict go in our direction.

Just realised that I’ve had quite a few “safety” bets on Liverpool/Arsenal winning the league when we’ve been in title races over the years refunded, which is quite nice. City ended up winning the league each time, and I’ve effectively got my money back. If the only price to pay is enduring a predictably tedious, unfunny ad campaign in return then I can live with that.

The PP advert reaffirms to me how big the club has become and how much more money can be rinsed out of the 115. City fans caught in the crossfires.

That is all it boils down to. Right or wrong don’t exist in law, only what you can prove. The league can prove fuck all apart from showing an alarming level of incompetence.

I reckon the city legal team has the tribunal going round in circles. It’s taken so long because we have bombarded them with thousands of documents. Shows to me that the club is well prepared to fight. CAS gave us an opportunity to gain the upper hand. The preparation for the premiers case was already done.

I can only imagine a scene where the league walk in with an email and city is armed to the teeth with boxes and boxes of irrefutable prove. The game was up before it started. Masters is gulping his last ounce of oxygen.
