Just a couple of social media claims at the moment, although ChatGPT seems to think that 95% is a suspiciously large figure. I'm fairly certain that we don't have a cash flow issue either, so can't see why we'd do that.City Chief on X: "Barça still owe #ManCity €13m for Ferran Torres. We know for a fact that Liverpool did do that to some extent with Coutinho because it's apparently mentioned in Barcelona's accounts.

They just nicked my tweet and screenshot. City factored the remaining monies from Barca - we know this because Barca's accounts tells us - so it is definitely correct. Given the risk (UEFA football creditor rules) and current interest rates, I reckon it cost 5-6%pa to do so. It won't be far out. Whilst City likely don't have cashflow issues, like any business they look to use the balance sheet efficiently.Just a couple of social media claims at the moment, although ChatGPT seems to think that 95% is a suspiciously large figure.
