PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I believe no one knows the outcome for sure that's why it puzzles me how anyone can be so certain. I hope you are right though.

It's just my opinion based on the level of evidence we think the PL will have been able to put together, the counter-evidence that we know the club will be able to provide in their defence, and the difficulty faced by the PL in providing evidence with the level of cogency required for them to prevail on the most serious allegations.

But, no-one else has to agree with me. It's just a view with which I am very comfortable.

Are we still saying the club will receive notice before publication? In which case Billy Shears is likely to hear before anyone?
Both the club & PL get notified first and foremost, they'll have a day or two minimum (maybe more) and should agree a public announcement day & time together. I'm hoping if it's a favourable decision for us that we then jump the gun and release it early just as an "up yours".

Although thinking about it, it will be heavily redacted with names and email addresses etc removed, do we and the PL ask them for that or do the panel already know what to remove? Could be way more than one or two days before it gets released but that does increase the risk of someone leaking it.

I've no idea of Billy Shears role but I'd wager 100% that if they do find out ahead of time that they'll not be posting anything on here before the release.

The bar for most of the accusations is very, very high, which is why it would seem very difficult to lose the bigger issues.

However, the non-cooperation and some of the smaller issues might trip us up a bit.

They’ll be enough for City to believe they’ve been exonerated, enough for the Cabal to say we were guilty as charged on numerous issues, and enough for opposition fans to say we were guilty…so basically no change in the dog’s abuse, but the issue will be behind us.

As long as there is no sporting sanction, and only a minimal non-cooperation “penalty” of probation or a small fine, I’d move on happy with the result and then try to rub it in with the title at the end of the season!!
