Bring on the Champions is a certainty.

One other thing that is a certainty is that The Etihad will feel like a different place after those last few minutes against qpr. Personally I have always preferred Main Road - so many years and emotions invested there I suppose. But I think now we have won the title at the Etihad it will now feel like a more special place than it did before, well for me at least anyway

I am with you on that Blue, what a difference it will feel like now.

So we are now only 13 days from the fixtures being released and it got me thinking. How do we want to greet our Champoins when the return to the playing field. What ideas do you lot have. A sea of blue and white singing Blue Moon. Bring out the Champions being sung 'the old style song' from the 60's Our now famous Na Na Na Na NA Cityyyyyyy Once again I dare say we will come up with a cracking idea for the lads to walk out to, but whatever it is, it has to be a deafening level of noise, not only to show our support but to again put the fear of god into visiting teams. Remember we are still on an amazing run at home and we want it to carry on. Ideas anyone :)
What about a load of ticker tape...if you start cutting now it should be immense by the start of the season.
Ha Ha not a chance, fingers are still sore, thats for special occasions such as maybe the Champs Lge Semi Final, but we will wait and see. I agree with one of the replies I wouldn't expect the club to arrange anything It was just a thought as we seem to have come up with some great ideas the last couple of seasons. -- Tue Jun 05, 2012 2:40 pm --

Our now famous Na Na Na Na NA Cityyyyyyy ========================== The question below has bothered me for a while to be honest. Do some Blues actually think we've only recently started singing this?
It hasn't been sang on the same level as at the Derby for 30 years and it just seems to be a song all fans love to sing together for a change, maybe because they can remember the words even drunk :)

And dont forget all fans can sing this as there is no swearing. This then means the whole of the family stand in the north end can join in. Just a thought to bear in mind as I dont often hear all the family stand joining in on 'We lost last week..........we dont give a fuck cos we're all pissed up'. I dont mind the swearing in songs but when we want ALL the ground to join in then its worth bearing in mind. To their credit, when the family stand have joined in with songs the atmosphere is electric.

Ditto we have been singing this for as long as i can remember!!
And until the derby I never really thought it was that special. But after the United game it was just wonderfully appropriate, made the hairs stand on the back of my neck. I will always associate it with that evening. Attempts to repeat that occassion on a regular basis should be strongly resisted.
I agree it was a special night, and Hey Jude was sung like never before. I'd like it to be a regular anthem; as much as Blue Moon is. It is an anthem that everybody seems to belt out... it is an atmosphere generator...

As I mentioned before, if you want everyone joining in on the singing then its always best with the songs with no swearing eg. blue moon, na na na na na na na nah city, etc. Family stand and some of the third tiers dont always feel like swearing.

I quite like the swearing songs ;-) but after we've made a great atmosphere for welcoming our champions, can I still leave early?! ;-)

If we play at home 1st game, do we play last game away?

it's possible to be home and away first and last, rare though unless you're man united.

We were home first and last this season!
