Plastic carrier bag cost to double

As I say why is it Joe public's fault only though? The next move will be to charge extra for your recycling bins to be emptied. Now whilst I agree that we should do our bit who on here wants to pay for Tesco's packaging or ASDA's wrapping if there is zero emphasis on them cutting down on it or paying to dispose of it. Why can't we take all our shit back to the store and chuck it in a macerator at a cost of 10p instead? Let the shop pay to get rid and take it for disposal at their cost? Then maybe ASDA would put a bit of preesure on their supplier to not wrap stuff so much?
I have had to pay extra for a garden waste bin in two different council districts so they’re already doing that.

Quality street, roses etc really wind me up!

Tubs carnt be recycled but are great for storage they tell us what a sham!!

Go back to metal tins, just think of the mountain size pile of these tubs from Xmas that will be kicking around for the next 150 years! damn outrage!

Swiss grocers, plastic bags have been phased out- you pay .30 CHF per paper bag or bring your own (which most people do)

What I find strange is that if you order a home delivery (did it ince when I was on crutches) Asda delivered some of items in plastic bags

Why ffs? Shirley if there is one instance when they were not necessary it was when it was being delivered to a doorstep..dicks

I always take old bags with me shopping, but sometimes ou need to pop in on the way home and don't have a bag, tgey really need to look at peper or card and still charge for them.
