Several media have reported corruption in all World Cup bid back from 1998 World Cup in France. And i'm convinced even before there was corruption. This is how it goes.

Qatar is just an obvious case because it is hard to legitimely understand why they would be chosen over other countries. Doesn't change the fact everyone buys their World Cup, Olympics and so on.

It's the level & blatant arrogance of the corruption in this & the Russia case, which has caused the problem.

Well, the real problem is the corruption in itself, not the blatant arrogance.

It is like saying : "Yeah, France bought their World Cup but at least they are a real football nation, unlike Qatar". It is not correct if justice is what we are looking for.

You’ve said this bollocks before. The US are not after Qatar in the slightest. They’ve got a great fucking airbase in the country and their navies spent half of last year on exercises together.

Trump isnt friends with Qatar? He sees them differently than his military men. Qatar isn't flavour of the month with USA, especially when it comes to kicking them (And platini) about the WC which Qatar stole from the US.

Trump isnt friends with Qatar? He sees them differently than his military men. Qatar isn't flavour of the month with USA, especially when it comes to kicking them (And platini) about the WC which Qatar stole from the US.

I don’t want to butt in with this but Qatar hold the largest US base in the Middle East, holding last I heard 12000 personnel. It is going nowhere anytime soon.
US World Cup ambitions will never be more important than Middle East foreign policy, even to Donald.

I dont think they will ever pull their bases or aircraft out, I dont think they will go to war LOL. I just said Platini / Qatar isnt good as far as the US is concerned, I suspect the US dont want the WC to be held in Qatar. I dont think they will nuke them though

I understand that you are keen to support Qatar, but this stinks of more shit than anything in tbe history of sport corruption.

They are inconveniencing millions of people, who live & breathe football & pay to watch it, because they have been bribed.

It's gone beyond anything before & it should be cancelled.

Trump is playing with US minions.

When things were not in favour of KSA, they improved their relationship with some more weapons sale (one of the biggest deal ever) and their vision has aligned perfectly. Even the scandal of the embassy was swept under the rug.
Qatar bought some more weapons from daddy USA to stay in their good graces too.

USA is very happy with Qatar. They are just using the old tactic of divide et impera.
