Player abuse following Euro 2020

Southgate said that analysis of previous posts showed they came from outside of the UK. Not sure it is much consolation but maybe a bit of a different perspective on it?
Could just be ppl in UK using foreign VPN. If I were a racist wanting to post this shit, I would make efforts to cover my tracks, so tracing may not be so easy.

There's a really quick solution to social media hate messages. Users put down a £100 deposit on their account and lose it if they post something that breaks the CoC.

A week ago country united and excited . Proud of the England team. All cheering and optimistic

now look at us

lost the game
hooliganism back
and worst of all this horrible racism. These people are not only racist cunts they are cowards hiding behind keyboards.

IT geeks can hack into the pentagon and yet Twitter can’t find out who the actual person is who is doing it. More needs to be done.

Twitter removes football highlights for "copyright violation" within seconds. If they wanted to tackle racism on their website, they could.

I'd prefer we remove anonymity from posters on social media platforms. That then puts the responsibility for offensive behaviour on the poster and they can then take responsibility for their words.

Why would they want to play for Divs like that again. They were outside fighting on the streets, smashing stuff up. I'd tell the FA to stick it up their arses

The Sun's front page today:

Which is fucking hilarious when you consider some of their other front pages, where they've played an active role in attempting to tear apart young black footballers:

And something to really warm the heart and give you hope that they're are a lot of decent people in this country. Rashford's mural in Withington full of messages of support after racial graffiti was put on the mural.

People have to use their real names and faces on Facebook but it doesn't stop racist abuse spreading.
