If I was a player, I would think twice about having any social media representation, or it would be very tightly controlled. I find some of the negativity towards our own players on this forum, from a small number of posters, to be a real surprise, and it generally is the same people, about the same players. We need to realise that the more supportive we are, the more likely it is that players will be successful, and that new players will wish to join. At the moment, our profile, success and set up is sufficient to attract them but it may not always be so, as it wasn't before the current regime.

Its simple, you don't understand city's style of play if you think eddie isn't important, yes, sometimes a player under performs but that doesn't mean he deserves to be abused in anyway. I wouldn't swap eddie for anyone, love the guy and his attitude, and I'm happy he's of twitter, its much better than taking abuse from bunch of nobodys

Ederson hardly ever concedes errors leading to a goal, he drops a couple of clangers every season but that is normal as he’s in a high risk position. He lets in goals that he could have done better, but that isn’t an error. Take Watford a few weeks ago, their goal was a decent strike, hard and low and people expected Ederson to save it.

As for these idiots saying Hart would have won us two Europeans cups by now, is that the same Hart that got told by Pep straight away that he wasn’t cut out to play in his team? Hart would get mauled in a Pep team.

It’s just disappointing how short term people’s memories can be. The guy is pivotal to the way we play and he definitely makes up for what he has apparently cost us. There’s no one more suited to us than ederson imo. There are times when some goals let in are questionable but you’ll find in those games our attackers don’t seem to be much better anyway.

This he cannot save or is a bad shot stopper bollocks appeared about 5 weeks before the end of the season and like most social media bullshit, it has become "fact" to the grand collective thickos online, even though he has made plenty of saves to keep up goaless

One of the downsides of being a successful club is that we attract these nobheads to support us online.

Might even get worse if Haaland fanboys grow in numbers.
