One more thing on Dias. He's been continually swapping sides too depending if he's partnered with Stones or Laporte and playing at an incredibly consistent level.

I would give it Gundog. Beat the Covid. Been a star off the pitch as well as on it.

We have had many amazing performances from numerous players this season.
I won't elaborate on them here. You know already if you've watched our games.
Instead - I will simply observe that Ruban Dias is the most valuable player by far for us this season.
Last season we leaked goal after goal after goal - our defense was shambolic.
Enter Dias - he has single-handedly provided excellent play at the back - and moreover - has, by his leadership - instilled confidence and good play by our entire back line.
We gone from an average defense - to the best defense in the P/L (in world football?) - simply due to Dias.
Dias is my player of the year - by far.
Dias has dipped a bit in form lately - but he's played so many (every?) game where he's been fit - so that's to be expected.

It's between Dias & Gundo. Dias did what we have needed ever since Vinny was unable to complete full seasons, could you just imagine them two together?! And when Dave left we needed someone to step up, we all thought it was going to be Foden or Bernardo but Gundo has actually flourished there. Given the fact that KDB has had patches of injuries, he has stepped up and really carried us in that department at times. Between those two, it's a photo finish IMHO.
