Player of the Year 13/14

Just cant split Yaya and David.

Yaya is incredible of course and does things that remind me of the King in his pomp and David is simply the most technically gifted player I have ever seen in a blue shirt.

Fuck me we are blessed and they both cost less than the bogbrush lol
 
Undecided.

Silva's my favourite player too and a couple of weeks ago I'd have said Merlin. However Yaya reminded me yesterday how much he influences big matches. His goal tally from midfield is incredible, They've not exactly been scuffed shots either. There will probably be more key moments from either/both so I'll wait until the very end of the season to get off the pot.

What a shit dilemma to have to choose between these two players. ;)
 
For me it's Yaya, but I don't understand why Silva is the only competition.. Just because he has been the best recently? I remember a mid-season poll and Silva wasn't even in the discussion. It was all Nasri, Aguero, and Fernandinho. I do think Silva is a contender certainly, but I don't see why the first half of the season is just being ignored. For me, Nasri's recent struggles have been greatly exaggerated (played full 90 in all 5 games in April) and he was phenomenal all the way up to injury. Even after injury he scored winner at Wembley and has put in some motm performances.

Yeah its not dissimilar to deciding between Ged Brannan and Jaime Pollock
 
Has to be Yaya for me, he's our top scorer, battered everyone in the league for midfield stats and I wouldn't bother about anyone else in the world. This goal sums up his contribution for us this year. I wouldn't say he's our most important player but he's one that when we play, things seem to happen.

Yaya.

Both have been vital to us this season but Yaya has made more vital contributions in more games, and in the big games.
 
Yaya for me . His goals have been massive this season . Also scored some very good free kicks this season .
 
Yaya for me, always seems to produce goals in the big games. Although I have to say it always annoys me that POTY awards are decided before the end of the season ! Could all change in the next few games. Who can stand up to the pressure and make a vital assist/goal to help us hopefully win the title.

Hmmm, I'm not sure he's as tough as Zab (!) but I agree with the rest.
