Sorry but that complete lack of respect not for the club but for the match going fans has tarnished my memories of him.go some where else please edin.
You went making a point to the club you disrespected the fans ,it was sad to watch you stoop to that level.
What did he do to disrespect the club or the fans yesterday ? Or are you another body language expert ?

I won't personally miss him, but he played an important part in both our title wins, and for me that deserves our thanks, and good wishes for the future.

I know you like being a Devil's advocate, but a serious question for you. Did you go yesterday or not hang around for the lap of honour? Honouring works both ways Fans applauding players, players applauding fans.
A bit cheeky asking whether I went or not, but for the record, yes I went, and yes I stayed until they had walked past where I sit, but I wasn't looking for Dzeko, in fact I can honestly say I never saw him, I even watched the video on the OS today, and still can't recall seeing him, other than on the periphery, pretty much what he's been most of the season.

Assume your wumming ? But if not
45,000 get behind the team spending money some of us haven't got.
Most fans stayed behind yesterday to show their support to a team that has let us down this season.
That was the players chance to show their thanks for the fans support
Dzeko walks the shortest distance round the pitch with his hands in his pockets blanking the crowd while every other player acknowledged the crowd.
No I wasn't wumming, I didn't see him, probably because I wasn't looking for him, and if he wasn't joining in then its little wonder I didn't see him, because my focus was on those who were.

Hands in his pockets eh, he's always been a sulky tw@t, especially if he doesn't get on the pitch, it was hardly likely to be any different yesterday.

As I said, I won't miss him, but he still contributed when he could be arsed, which was sadly not very often this season.

Dzeko comes across as a right sulking moody bastard , and only plays when he wants to , never seen him smile once , how can you appear so miserable playing football for a living, getting 5 star treatment from the club , and paid millions into the bargain , and yet be so ungrateful when he has the opportunity to return applause to the supporters who pay his wages , ungrateful at a minimum , and more likely just down right disrespectful.

that probably being the problem, he's barely played

fair point , but he has had plenty of chances to impress , MP even preferred him for 3 or 4 games when Bony arrived , i appreciate what Dzeko has done for our club , but time for him to go , before it all turns sour.

i think we are getting more fickle fans by the week. no matter were Edin is next year he deserves some respect for what he has done for our club since his arrival.

Be consistently shite to the point of amateur level first touch, consistently flutter his eyelashes at other clubs every summer, and consistently blame any and everything but himself for his poor form?

Edin scored some big goals for us and was paid 150,000 a week to do so. He has never in his entire time here gone above and beyond, so see no reason why we need to for him. Dzeko was a business transaction by both parties and we don't need ceremony if its over.

He has played more games for us in his 4 full seasons here than he did in his 4 seasons at Wolfsburg.

His lack of playing time is a myth

According to Wikipedia, he was only at Wolfsburg for three and a half seasons. If you go by league mayches, which is a fairer comparison, he's played fewer games this season than in any since 2005-6.

For good reason

Edin hasn't had much backing from the home support so I can understand him not getting excited by the lap of appreciation. If the last game had been away from home then maybe Edin would have thanked the fans. He only knows.

I wish Dzeko well at his next club. Edin's goals have been critical in our success. It's time to make room in the squad for other attackers - whether that be Kelechi or a new signing.
