We were outside The Hilton a couple of hours after we won the league in 2012 - Zabba drove up in his car and my husband egged me on to go speak to him - I went up in my City shirt, scarf etc and said 'thank you' - Zabba just looked back at me and said 'No, Thank You!' Awesome player, and complete gentleman!

This is what I am talking about.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I hope he and his wife have a kid - male or female - to keep the Zaba blood line going in City!

I remember going to see his first match, against Chelsea, the first match after the take over, and my son and I were looking forward to seeing a genuine Argentine full back, expecting to see a real hard man. I don't think he had a particularly good game, but we came to appreciate that hs's actually as tough as old boots, he has an 'Argentine' work ethic, but most of all he rally knows how to play football and he works hard so that he's improved every season. Great advert for Argentina. Pure Manc. Along with a couple of other Argentines team!

Whats also immensely likeable about him is how he is with us fans. I took my friend Katy down to the Etihad when they were training there. Katy adores him and after training he came over and signed stuff and posed for piccys etc. Katybasked him to marry her, with a lovely smile he said sorry your too late I just got married, katy said divorce her then, Zabba was pissing himself laughing. And it made Katys day. So simple but so important I reckon. DMD was equally charming and Yaya was a star too.
