Doesnt Sane play a central midfield role compared to Roberts in a wide position.

Pretty sure he plays anywhere across the attacking midfield area but from the few times i have seen him he has been on the wing rather than central

I'd second that although playing in a dog awful Sunderland team is proabably better than sitting on the Bournemouth bench. Good luck to him if he goes.

Problem is Bournemouth have just spent big on a winger and a few strikers, so I doubt Roberts will play.

They for me are more likely to stay up and Howe plays an attacking style of football which will suit Roberts.

Apparently we've opened talks with Celtic over a loan move.

Not a bad move, would gain regular first team experience playing in a team who must win every week and in front of a home crowd of 40,000 - 50,000. Certainly more beneficial for Roberts than playing youth football.
