A big blow having Nasri and Yaya missing. I hope Jovetic gets a chance in a deeper position and I fully expect others to step up. Right now though I would take Draws against the Arsenal and Chelsea and a win in the FA Cup

I have been thinking the same thing..hazard or fabregaas or even Costa don't seem to have injury concerns... Is it our training style?

I know what you mean, but he'll keep giving the bloody ball away won't he, whilst we are exposed, stretched out high up the pitch.

If he does that and we allow Arsenal to break on us, they will take advantage, this is not Leicester we are talking about.

I don't know why I say if. To be honest I think it's bloody inevitable. We are going to have to score two or three minimum I think.

We've had plenty of similarly inept performances with him in the side. Far too much to suggest his absence is somehow responsible for our poor performance today. It's not as if he's famed for his fantastic performances against Arsenal.

Nope, not many where we are no threat at all. Samir at least keeps the ball and pressure on opposition. Without him and Yaya we can't make that pressure at all.

The Yaya, Samir, Dave triangular passing routine is the best in the league, if not the world.

Poor Dave looked lost without them today!

Such a bad time to lose his two mates. Just one of those seasons, it seems.

Needs to be made into a quartet.

Spot on mate. Boy oh boy did we miss Nasri yesterday, especially because Toure was away. We need one more player who can step in and be on that wavelength with Silva because it's not either of the Ferns, it's not Milner, and it's not Navas.

Isco.

I had a clown behind me today slagging off Nasri until I pointed out to him he wasn't on the pitch. He then pointed at Navas to which I had to point out his error, and I kid you not, he then said, 'well they're both shi£ anyway'. This joker, thankfully isn't a regular, but how wrong he was. Nasri was exactly what we were missing today, somebody to unlock a tight defence, yes he can be frustrating but he is one of only three players (Yaya, silva) that has the ability to see a pass two or three phases before other players. Need to get Samir back sooner rather than later, touch of class that we are missing desperately at the minute.

His missus was gutted about the performance today on Twitter.

Quick, somebody console her!

NASRI NOT LEAVING CITY

Samir Nasri has told Sky Sports that he is not planning on leaving Manchester City and intends to come back stronger from injury next season.

In a wide-ranging interview, Nasri said: "Going back to France? I don't think so. I'd like to play in MLS because I love the culture in America. Coaching? Why not? I'm going to start to take my badges soon so that when I finish I can look forward straight away.

"But I still have four years left on my contract so what I want now is to be focused on my rehab. I’m going to work a lot in pre-season to come back as fit as possible with a new state of mind - then have a great season and win trophies."
