The picture in the MEN says he was leaving after a scan, surely if it was that bad he would have been whisked of to a specialist or a surgeon, not walking out crutches or no crutches.

He'll have to wait a couple of weeks for his GP to receive the scan, then go on the waiting list once he finally gets a GP appointment a week or so later.

God only knows how long he'll be out.

That's if they don't lose the results between the scan and GP's PC meaning he'll have to take a second afternoon off work as today's visit was a waste of half a day off work.

Re: Samir Nasri

I was fearing a lot more than 8 weeks....Get yourself well Sami ready for the title run-in and the World Cup...

Going to be a big miss with some really important games coming up though....

I will be shitting myself every time Silva is tackled from now on, thank fuck he escaped unscathed yesterday...

Re: Samir Nasri

If you look at our fixtures during his absence, most of them we should be OK without him. Spurs A and Chelsea H are the annoying ones, as he has good games against them.

The worry is overworking the other attacking midfielders and as we know, Silva has had a lot of muscle injuries and for all we know a new one could appear. Imagine life without Silva and Nasri...

Re: Samir Nasri

Huge relief that the injury is not as bad as feared. 2 months is bad but that was such a bad tackle it could have ended his career or in the case of a acl he would never have been the same player. It will probably be 3 months before he is fully fit again possibly more but a least he should make a full recovery hopefully.

Now need jovetic to get his act together and start making a contribution worthy of his 24 million fee.

Ha ha, well spotted.

Not a contradiction in any way shape or form. That is my opinion based on his playing time so far this season as well as the fact he is currently injured.

You`re definately on the wum !! So you discuss Nasri and how anyone can make an opinion and yet you are doing likewise with JR.

Not a wum at all. Look at Rodwell's history both at Everton and at City. Look at how long he has been absent this season. My opinion on Rodwell is based on current form. Nasri had't even had a scan before people were saying he will be out for nine months. Surely that isn't difficult to understand. In fact has Rodwell played back to back games this season and lasted 90 mins in both?
