Re: Samir Nasri

Fair play to him, he's been magnificent recently. Noticed he's stopped turning back on himself as much this season which has helped.

It's because Teves doesn't get in the way anymore. He and Silva have more freedom because the front two are more disciplined in their roles. Great to see him in such good form. Hope it last all season.

Im loathe to criticise Tevez but there is truth in your words.

Aguero can now run into his spaces, we arnt overloaded in certan areas, Negredo is a clever footballer who lets Sergio do the hard yards and it gives Silva and Nasri freedom too.

Plus we have more targets for Yaya to feed into feet and we need it into feet.

I thought Samir was fantastc tonight and on his day he is world class.

Re: Samir Nasri

If it wasnt for 5 goals from the strikers he'd be my MoM today, his close control, keeping the ball, passing, awareness, hard work were brilliant. He also seems to have an extra spurt of acceleration this season that I've not really seen since he was at Arsenal.

Re: Samir Nasri

The thing that makes me happiest is that for the nights rare that they may be when Silva isn't at the top of his game (and the top of his game is astronomical so keep perspective as to what I'm saying), Nasri is stepping up. These two are learning to complement each other highly. It's amazing when combined with Yaya and our forwards.

Re: Samir Nasri

I'd say my MoTM, he worked hard, played some lovely passes, kept the ball excellently, skipped past his men, excellent work and I'm fucking glad he's come good and is enjoying his football.

and Fernandihno.....

I thought Nasri was close to motm on Saturday, and again tonight, but being second best in this team is a pretty good effort lets be honest. I thought I even spotted some pace tonight as well.

Re: Samir Nasri

Arguably motm last 2 games. Either way, he's playing well this season. Thought we lost a bit of spark against Chelsea when he was brought off as well.

Glad he was brought off tonight tho. Wouldn't want to risk being without both him and Silva for Sunderland

Aguero, Silva, Nasri and Yaya all started the season in good form. The amount of goals reflecting this (over 50 already so far, I think)

There is no doubt that Nasri and Silva are now playing brilliantly together. In fact our front six are all playing so well together.....and twelve goals in two games is incredible!!!!!.
