Exceptional ball that and exceptional in the build up to Milner's header. Thought he might have been pissing about with them like he often does on both counts but he really looked to hurt them tonight, particularly with the second. Top class, just hope he can keep it up

At times he can hold on to the ball too long but generally second half he was brilliant, dropped deeper and dictated it. The quick passing between him and Silva and the cross to Milner was great, as was his goal bit of directness and someone actually took a shot from range!

Played brilliant second half. Have a real soft spot for Nasri, love how passionate he gets. When him and Silva combine like they did tonight it's a joy and what I hoped for when he signed. Has bags of talent, has'nt shown his full potential ever as he has that much but we see glimpses. He could be as good as anyone if just pushed a bit harder.

First half he was looking like a player lacking match sharpness but he put in a quality second half performance and just edged Milner for man of the match award. I am delighted that he is starting to prove his critics wrong.
