For the benefit of the team, and for Vinnie himself, he needs to be dropped. We are still in Europe and a chance to retain the title (albeit both are deminishing rapidly).

Sadly, there is a mistake waiting to happen when Vinnie is now playing.

It's sad to see, but it's true.

I know the Vinnie fan boys will hear no wrong, but I support City, and want the team to do well, Vinnie is currently detrimental to this.

Aside from his mistakes I actually thought he did well yesterday. A lot less rash than he's been in a while

I agree completely.

I think he's been fooling a lot of people with his confident swagger, but he's been poor ever since he had a stormer against Costa when we played Chelsea earlier in the season. I'd start MDM and Mangala at centre half for the next game or two, make Vinnie realise that he needs to play to his best if he's going to stay in the team, let alone stay captain.

Fingers crossed he can get back to his best, and quickly.

He needs to sort his boots out, he was slipping and sliding all over the place as if he was wearing trainers!!

i think we should change his position. our problem is with the defensive midfield position. Yaya doesn't defend Fernando isn't at the races and Fernandinho has to cover too much ground as he is often the lone DM. Move VK to DM play MDM and Mangala at CB and we would have good cover with a player able to stop and start attacks simples

At one time or another our defenders are being 'vilified' or blamed for our poor performances. Perhaps the problem lies not in our defenders.
When we dropped Hart to the bench last season did the whole team benefit from that decision?

The other departments are coming in for criticism as well.
But it's not Hart or Aguero who are mis-kicking most simple clearances, losing out on challenges they should be winning, playing a non-existent offside trap, shitting out of intercepting crosses in the penalty area or letting average players run rings around them week in, week out at the moment.

We expect top performances, brilliant displays, from our top class players.. in every position.

That includes Goalkeeping which is the most critical.

Who was not at fault for either goals yesterday, and few keepers would have gotten to them.

thought vinny played well yesterday,i thought he was sold short when he missed the ball, second hald though him and mangala played well.

imo we don't have enough energy in the middle
