Kompany would walk into any team in europe, he hasn't had his best season but has still been one of the league's best defenders! He isn't even at his peak yet and people are saying he's done, Aguero isn't scoring as regularly anymore will we shift him as well?! Kompany is one of about 5 genuine world class players in our team and we can't afford to lose any, there are very few world class's cb's available to replace him.

He has the support of City fans (certainly on the pitch), that though isn't enough. His head is all over the place and in his current state is causing City problems, hence the criticism he is receiving in this forum.

Unless he sorts his shit out during the remainder of this season and the off season, City board will have another "Yaya" decision to make. Maybe he has peaked mentally and physically through what he has achieved over these last 5 years, and sometimes, we as fans, have to recognise these things.

We all want the Vinnie we know and love back. The current Vinnie is a different proposition.

Head seems full of wobbly trifle. Didn't look that bad for Belgium tbf, not great but ok, but the two cards were childishly stupid.

If you look at the stuff which regularly happens to the central defenders of Barca (& Spain) Real (& Spain) Bayern etc, then it's hardly a huge upgrade on Vinny even in his present shit form. They drop bollocks in every single game they play, win lose or draw. You only have to look at the goals Bayern & Barca have conceded against City in recent times. Awful.

Vinny in decent form,is on another planet compared to all of them, & on top form, in another universe. None of them can lace his boots.

Their people know that, & would trust that form is temporary. We should do the same. if he was made available, all of them would want him, & if we sold, we would end up a laughing stock when he came back to haunt us, year after year.
