Player Topic: Aleks Kolarov 2015/16

Very few LBs that can cross like him. Even fewer that can take a freekick like him. Is there a LB with the same goalscoring ratio? Sums up our own Kolarov. And yes he might (MIGHT) not be the best defender, All his other attributions are far more important to our style of play. Add to that the needless trickery and swagger...really like this player. Accept he makes a few mistakes.
 
Having the threat of Sterling on the left means that the opposition's right wing player can't drift upfield forcing him into a position to sprint to recover. He and Sterling look great together both attacking and defending.

I noticed Sterling does track back. Sterling hasn't quite worked it out just yet but he's putting in the work.

As for Kolarov, in my opinion he's the best crosser of the ball in the PL. He adds another layer to our attack. Absolutely love this guy. Made his fellow Serbian Ivanovic look ordinary.
 
I like this fella, a lot. Motm for me today. His performance today both in attack and defence was immense.
