Absolutely ran the game from start to finish and I don't recall a single mistake.

Yeah even on sadcafe most of the posters absolutely think he's fantastic which is quite amazing considering he plays for us. There is a poster though who thinks he's too slow too inconsistent and would rather have Wilshire

I've just been over for a look. They really rate him, and respect him. I think he is probably universally liked. I can't think of anything he has ever done to offend any other team, and I hope he keeps it that way.

The thing with Red Cafe and United's global support is that they don't necessarily see City in the same way most of us view United. There are many more Mancunians in here, certainly as a proportion of the total, and our bitterness and disdain for them is far more prominent. Yes, there are a few who claim they don't rate Silva, and some who rate him but wish he wasn't playing for us. But there are far more there who seem to appreciate Silva's footballing ability.

Just got back from The Hawthorns. Great performance, great atmosphere, great result and right at the heart of it all was David Silva. We are truly blessed to have him play for us, the amount of fouls he suffers is unbelievable and he just takes it, gets up and slips the free kick to Yaya. He is a joy to watch, the most skilled player I've seen at City in 50 years.

He's not the most skilled considering Yaya Toure is a much better player. Great tonight but Yaya is the main man. Ridiculous he never gets the respect he so thoroughly deserves, it always Silva that gets all the credit.
