I've said for many years that Silva is up there with Iniesta and most people scoffed at it, most likely due to one playing for City and one playing for the almighty Barca but it was Silva who controlled tonight's game and he'll continue to do it every game he plays in, club or country.

You're not alone. Few Liverpool fans I know thinks coutinho is better than silva. I actually don't know if they're on a massive wind up. Idiots, I also suggested silva is on par with iniesta and they nearly fell of there chair. Some people just don't realise how good he is.
He's better than Iniesta. Has been since the euros in 2012 and I'm a huge Iniesta fan, up until 2012 I thought he was better than Messi.

What do Spanish fans think of Silva? I don't really get a chance to talk to Spanish fans very often.
They don't look outside their domestic league much and we've been shite in the Champions League so while they value him as a player for Spain he's underrated there.
