Exactly this. And Demichellis had how many years experience playing top flight football? If he found it a baptism of fire then a rookie, in a new league, with new players around him, is going to make mistakes. The kid's obviously not the finished article yet, but we knew that when we fucking bought him.
Any Blue that thinks that Mangala is not going to mess up is deluded. However, as long as he improves to the level - and over the period of time that those who decided to buy him think appropriate - then we're going to get the odd master-class mixed with the odd nightmare.
Maybe in two years time we'll be watching consistent master-class performances with the odd average game.
I'm quite happy to watch him develop into that player.

He made two mistakes today and we still won the game. That's perfect. I'd rather he make his mistakes now than in a game where it'll be the decider.

Nothing to wrong to criticize a player when he played poorly. Heck Dzeko gets slagged even when his goals were important for us. Doesn't mean mangala is condemned to be a poor player for us. He made comical mistakes today and defended like an amateur that's costs us two goals and the lead. Good thing it was still early in the game and we could still turn things around but would be costly if it happened late in the match. Anyway, I hope he puts this behind him and avoid the silly moments next time round.
