Didn't help him the fact clichy was absolutely shocking as well! We have good left backs but not one great or top class left back. Still wish we could get ricardo rodriguez!

After the o.g. he tried too hard not to make a mistake. A fairly normal reaction for someone getting used to a new team. No reason to think he won't grow into the job. A couple of last ditch tackles, a few good headers and he will be fine. Undeniably rapid

correct. we need to see him grow in to the team, then we'll have a world star alongside vinny.

'Mangala Mare 'on MoTD, after the pen he misplaced a pass and got caught in possession, like every other player does over a game. It was a bit pathetic, he showed enough after the pen to give me confidence in him.

This. He didn't inspire great confidence, but nor was he anywhere near as bad as some on here are suggesting
