And you base this view on what exactly? One poor half in only his second league game for us? I despair of how quick some of our fans are to get on the back of one of our own.

His attributes are physical. Very strong and very quick. Average ability on the ball and decision making and positioning both questionable. Pretty similar to the young Micah

I am astounded you have been able to make that comparison from 3 games. I congratulate you on your analyst credentials I think you would be a great asset to any football team.

I'm surprised my tongue in cheek comparison to Micah Richards has provoked such a reaction. All comments on this thread have been based on 3 games both positive and negative. The jury is still out

The penalty was poor, but the own goal was just unfortunate, could have happened to anyone and wouldn't have happened if Clichy didn't dive in against Rosenior.

Exactly, that own goal is not gonna happen again in million times. Pelanty was dumb though, but yeah he didnt see there player, happens

better the kid got this lesson early on. he learnt the hard way that there is no easy game in England. He'll be better off knowing that he has to have the same mentality playing the likes of Hull, Stoke, Villa as he would prepare against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, etc.

Yes. My bet is he's here to learn and will take it in board.

Must be a difficult transition to a new country, new team and new league but I've got a feeling this lad will be a big success.
