Re: Mangala

Mangala played well today.

He is the new Demichelis - no matter how well he plays, some clowns will mock him.

Give it a year when he's fully settle and all these fuckwits will deny they ever said any such thing.

Ignore it.

It will get harder when he keeps improving week in, week out.

A lack of integrity and frankly downright laziness of our press that is yet again the problem. Once again a narrative has been set early doors and once again it's easier to parrot it week after week than use your fucking eyes and report the truth.

He's nothing like the liability the media make out, just like Demichellis, who went and bossed a WORLD CUP FINAL, never was.

Re: Mangala

Yaya's fault the goal and that's not a criticism of him as he played well

Mangala had to do something. Honest challenge for the ball which some refs might have waved away

Bang on the money mate.

Re: Mangala

mangala was very good today , couple of rash challenges cost him , and yaya owes him big time , he took one for the team today ,no doubt the media will have a field day , but we have got a diamond of a player.

.?

Wasn't clear cut to me. Could have been seen as a shoulder charge which I thought was allowed (unless I'm still on 1970's rules!?!)

Re: Mangala

He was alright today.

He's very erratic, needs to calm down. There was a noticeable difference in how calm Demichelis was in comparison when he came on.

His first booking was poor technique. Used the wrong leg! Cutting across someone like that is something you'd expect from a low quality centre half.

Still, a better performance all round than a few others he's had. Don't blame him for his second yellow, not much else he could do after the Yaya blunder.
But a long way still to go though for the lad.
