Berahino bullied him ?

You were watching a different game to me sam.

I wouldn't say out and out bullied him, he just gave him some work to do which on one or two occasions he got drawn into making fouls but that was Berahinho's job being so isolated.

I thought he was very good today though, better than Vinny.

He was good today, but what did Vinny do wrong ?

I'm not sure he's saying that Vinnie did anything wrong, just that Eli was the superior of the two

Mangala had an excellent game, IMHO. He hardly gave Berahinho a sniff all game and completely controlled things at the back.

I'm still not entirely convinced but it's his first season so I'll wait till next season and see how he develops.

This lad is going to be an outstanding centre back. He has everything, pace, power, strength. I look forward to seeing a few eat their words.

Good signs today. Didn't try and win the ball immediately. Just shut down Berihino's options.

Entre back 4 looked good, but I doubt we'll get an easier game than that all season.

Agree on both counts, but it will have given them some confidence that has been missing of late. Hopefully Pellers will run with that from now in unless injuries dictate otherwise.

I agree, signs have been there from the start for me, just needs to get to grips with the PL, can't really judge him on today, though he played well, there was very little to be judged on.

Continue to play him in the remaining fixtures, let him prove he's worth the £32mill we paid it's no good having him in the side one week and then on the bench the other. Need his pace v Palace next week as they've got a fair few speed demons in their side.

I must have missed him getting bullied by berahino .... that's one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever read on here. I'm not judging Mangala after today but do think he has improved in recent performances. But today he had berahino in his pocket. Hoping we see him play every game with Vinny til end of season so we know whether it's our first choice or not.

Needs a constant run of games to get form and an understanding with vinny! I expect him next season to be quality.
