Yep, that's why the majority of the goals we conceded this season came from Mangala's left side of the defence. Just ask Victor Moses and Glenn Murray, both granted time and space to pick out the bottom corner from 20 yards by that clown.

He's a shambles and that's why the coaching and technical staff at the club were willing to let him go to Valencia on loan.

Kompany hasn't been able to relax in the knowledge that his defensive partner won't go walk about since Lescott, so having Otamendi in the team is a godsend.

Otamendi is an aggressive defender, but his starting position is always deep and he attacks the ball in to out, whereas Mangala and Demichelis will literally run around in circles and leave huge gaps to be exploited in our defence. That's had a hugely detrimental effect on VK's game.
Kolarov's exposed far less with a proper defender who reads the game well next to him as well.
Give over abusing our own ffs. There's been one or two moments this season where he's let himself down but no more than Ota or Demi has, get a grip.

What a situation we've found ourselves in with cb's atm. Demi surely on his way out but with Denayer coming back we could easily end up with 4 of the top 10 prem cb's next season. If not for gael coming back I'd wonder about giving manga a few games at lb, might push him into a little more composure and improve his on the ball play

This is exactly why you should be ignored..... Brain dead

The down turn in AK's form had nothing to do with the over exposure, now did it?

Nope, it's all this lads fault..

You've used 2 bog standard examples and come up with a conclusion.. Let's flip it shall we, should hart of stopped both Murray and Moses shots??? IMO yes, however, you choose to focus on mangalas style of defending and call him a 'shambles'....

He's a fucking kid you pleb, been outstanding all season yet your summation is.......

Jog on over to the Bony thread, you'll fit right in!!!!

Two genuine question. Are you actually a City fan as reading such negativity about one of ours leads me to think otherwise. And, are you an adult

A. seems to have had a bit of a bee in his bonnet ever since Nastasic was ousted from the team - he was forever giving Demichelis pelters when he first signed, and has now transferred his attentions to Mangala.

Not entirely sure why, given that they're both so obviously better, or perhaps rather better suited to our game, that Nastasic ever was or would be.
