Why would anyone think this was a plausible scenario anyway? He failed a medical a week ago so we give him a new one a week later? Were we hoping for a different result? Second time lucky? He have the sniffles the first time round?
Because that's what this forum has become. Members who wanted to debate issues have been banned and under 11`s allowed on.

So we now have 3 of the starting 11 of Englands last game in our squad. Hart, Delph and Sterling. When you look at the other 8 players who started who would really improve us?

Jones? no
Smalling? No
Cahill? Yes
Gibbs? Doubtfull.
Henderson? Hell no.
Townsend? No
Wilshire? Maybe
The bald fat granny shagging rug head? No

We have maybe the 3 Englishmen who would make a difference to our team, all the others would be a downgrade or unobtainable.

Problem is they probably won't get a game for england now they play in gods own blue.

How about this for a conspiracy theory? LFC supporters are deluded.

He is a box to box midfielder. He can't defend at all, can't head the ball, is weak, can't pass particularly well and has relatively poor technique. He can dribble and has good work rate, that's it. At a top club he will be exposed very easily.

That's still an upgrade on Fernando ;-)

Personally though I doubt he'll be a regular starter, I think he'll do just fine and at the price we got him for it's a no brainer.

This is an awful signing and he will cost us points next year. I wouldn't be surprised if his mistakes are as obvious as Savic did at City.

Check out this quality defending. This will only be worse and more obvious at a top club.

What an awful example.

He's been exposed by his centre halves in the last minute of a game, and the opposition player (who was fresh from the bench), has twatted in a screamer.

Why don't we give the lad a chance eh, before we start wrecking him before he kicks a ball for us? You know how many people say ooh you can't tell anything from a you tube highlight reel ..samaras etc, the same is true when its a mistake too.

One can easily find a video to show he isn't all that bad though:

The most important thing Delph will offer in midfield is legs, Sky tweeted this yesterday, assuming its accurate this is a big improvement in our midfield.

I'm really hoping that the medical has confirmed that he has the required 2.

Preferably one left leg and one right leg
