Our treatment for these repeated hamstring and calf injuries is not looking very effective. Delph has become another liability and we have too many already.

On a very poor pitch too by all accounts. He probably wouldn't have started against the dippers but we've still got to get Fernandinho back intact yet.

To be fair – if we had him on the bench last weekend then 60mins the following Friday should have been ok.

You would think that after several of these injuries though he should be held back just to do basic running and strength building exercise. It’s not like we are desperate for midfield cove rat the moment.

If he carries on like this his career is going to nose dive and it will be Rodwell all over again.

Yes, I have. He's had a decent season and apart from the away game in Germany, he's even been good in Europe.

There's not one player in that Liverpool team fit to lace Yaya's boots.

He had Shelvey, Dier and the young lad Alli who all could have played. Absolutely no need for Delph to start again for England after yet another lay-off; which was also caused when starting for Woy.
