Thought he was excellent today, would of been my MOTM but for Fernandinho. Goes relatively unnoticed but covered the midfield runners excellently and very intelligently plugged the gaps left at the back when Otamendi and occasionally Kompany went wide. Very important today and showed his value in this squad. Must play in more higher profile games with Fernandinho. Whether that means pushing Yaya up or benching him is another matter but he has to play.
 
Starting to see the Octopus that everyone said he was when he signed. Think his injury really effected him, as he seems far more mobile this season. Another example of not jumping the gun and consigning a player to the shit bin too early.
 
Did great, him and DInho looking good together & provide the defence with much needed cover.
 
If you don't keep a keen eye on the game you wouldn't know he was there, that's how good and efficient he is at defending. He and Fernandinho are a better pairing than Yaya/Ferna for the foreseeable future.
 
Love the way the pair of them go quietly about their business. No histrionics or fuck all. Fernando shaded by Dinho today but not by much. Hopefully he'll get a decent run of games from now.

Problem with this is a midfield two of him and Fernandinho offensively certainly doesn't set the world on fire. In games like this he is fine but Norwich at home? Not for me. Toure plays in those type of games.
