This reminds me of Southampton away at Arsenal last year. Alderweireld pulled up with a calf/hamstring injury with the game at 0-0 and 10 mins to go. No subs left, he spoke to Koeman I think, and walked off. Needless to say arsenal scored v 10 men...

We were briefly linked with him in the summer but I've never forgotten what he did that day. If it's a break then fair enough, but a muscle injury? I'd expect him to limp around the centre circle or stand on the line for a corner. Just help out your mates. I hoped we didn't sign him as he displayed a gob shite attitude. Arsenal scored in a goalmouth scramble.

I also missed today's incident but if Fernando has done likewise then get Delph in there and keep him there. Really annoys me...
 
Worst player since the takeover, I'd even have Garcia over him, only slightly worse than Mangala though.

Actually what worse was how we bought him.


His contract was going to expire in 6 months and we were going to get him for free but he decided to renew his contract and we ended up paying 12million for Porto.
 
We should have stayed away when he extended his contract at Porto. The Octopus i think he was coined when we signed him down to his ability to pick a pass and tackling. Christ.
