Player topic: Frank Lampard (2014/15)

Re: Frank Lampard (staying until end of season confirmed P11

It's official - we broke the rules when registering Lampard. Where has this come from I hear you all say. Tony Attwood of course so we're fucked!

Two things.

Firstly, the media keep going on about the seven points that Frank has won for us.

He's scored two winners and an equaliser, which I make five points, not 7. Oh well.

And I reckon if the eye-gouger thought for one moment that we would have taken Lamps, Maureen would have offered him another year in a flash.

His goal against Chelsea meant we drew 1-1

His goal meant we beat Leicester 0-1.

His goal meant we beat Sunderland 3-2

2 wins + 1 draw = 7 points

But we already had a point against both Leicester and Sunderland, so one point from each game, which means Frank's goals turned one point into three in those two matches, not nil points into three.

Therefore, he has earned us five points.

Yeah good point, but based on what I've seen in the media they are using the 7 points as the actual outcome and how at the end of the Christmas period milestone it means Chelsea would be clear if they had not let Lampard go.

I am more bothered about if it will affect our season than NYCFC..

It will be interesting to see how Frank performs from now till the end of the season and whether this will affect his performances ?
I am only bothered about how it affects our season. I'm not bothered how it affects NY one bit.

Could we get docked points over this shit?
We would have had to have done something wrong in the first place don't you think?

If he signed a 6 month deal we've broken PL rules.

If he signed for New York then signed a contract at City we have broken PL rules

If he signed a CFG contract then we have probably broken PL rules depending on how they view third part ownership

Careful mate, just saying that City's PR dropped a bollock is enough to get you called a rag cnut. Heavens knows what they will think about someone saying we might've broken rules.

I find the criticism of Frank Lampard from Chelsea supporters and some of their London-based journalists unbelievable. Roman would not give him the deal he was looking for and as this season has proved deserved.

Any Chelsea supporter that even contemplates booing him is a disgrace.
