How does adding the word thread/topic to the thread title prevent others from starting duplicate threads?.

It doesn't, but my take on why the mods did it is that it gives the bashers no excuse in saying they didn't see the existing thread.

My view is people on here often create duplicated threads so that they ensure they can bash the player as much as possible. I've no problem with someone fairly bashing players in an existing thread but creating duplicate threads to bash inevitably just results constant arguments. This is what happened when a thirds Joe Hart thread was created on Saturday after the Everton match, after that, the thread titles included 'Player topic...' and since then everything seems more civilised.

Be grateful for the mods that you have, when I was a mod (different forum) I was referred to as Hitler.
I don't remember Hitler boring people to death.

Always thought you had to be at least 18 to be a mod ?

Hi Hitler.

It's 'Heil Hitler' to you.

I don't remember Churchill always worrying about what Hitler was saying.

Frank has been a bit mediocre his last few performances, i think we need his head and experience for the Champs League again, get on it Frank!

You lost a bet on Saturday didn't you. :)

Probably on my own here but think overall he's been poor and a couple of goals have masked this .
Wonder weather the powers to be will think its been worth all the bad press over NYC as its turned out it was said they wanted him to fill for yaya but don't think he's hardly played

Since the loan extension it seems the backlash has effected his form. Still there are a few games left for Lampard to have some influence.

I'd rather have a loan player just doing ok than a seat warmer on a long term contract.

If those in power didn't rate Frank they wouldn't of asked him to stay.
