Player topic: Frank Lampard (2014/15)

Re: Frank Lampard

Love everything about this guy. He is the type of player we have not had for a long time. We need to look for a 26 year old version of him. What a team we would have then. He not only is a very clever footballer but a class guy off the pitch. His influence is fantastic and despite being a little sceptical of the signing at first he has thrown himself into our club. Hope he stays until March at least.

Re: Frank Lampard

FFS let's sign him up.
Buy Stevie from Loserpool for a vastly inflated fee they can't refuse, pay him a mega wage and he can be Frank's replacement for the Cosmos.
Simples!

Re: Frank Lampard

He is still top quality which is testament to the mans mentality and character. He's always looking to make things happen.....his influence and experience will be just as important off the pitch,we need to keep him here as long as possible.

Chelsea were very fortunate to have this fella at his peak.

Bet Mourinho didn't cheer Frank's goal! Hahahaha.

His legs have gone, his legs have gone, Frankie Lampard's leg's gone and scored again.

His legs have gone. But his head hasn't. What a fucking goal! Again!!!!

Hmmm, did you see how much ground he covered vs Bayern?

His speed of thought is still making up for lost pace.

His cameo today was near perfect; his finish was. Simply epected him to score when he got the ball in that position.

Possibly. Barkley maybe?

Re: Frank Lampard

Just one goal away from Henry to make the top 4 Premier League top scorers.

Won't make the all time list though, tenth place is Joe Smith with 243 (Frank has 174).

Barkley is nowhere near for me yet. Far too raw and naïve. For the money we'd have to spend he'd only be good enough for our bench of everyone was fit.

I think Koke has a more complete game,a midfield monster.

Barkley may well develop into such......but its a (financially huge)gamble at this stage.
