No??? More goals, more assists in arguably a weaker side suggests otherwise
AJ: 25 assists in 97 apps (1 every 3.9 games)
Navas: 17 assists in 55 apps (1 every 3.2 games)

Navas is a World Cup and European Championship winner
Johnson is struggling to get in to an awful Sunderland side and can't get in to the worst England squad for decades.

Bingo.

Re: Jesus Navas, good but.....

Can be dangerous and does defend well at times but does too much completely wrong. He's like what you get from a 17 year old and he's not that far off 30.

Re: Jesus Navas, good but.....

Bought a second rate speed merchant instant of a world class wide player. He's not good enough.

Unfortunately my opinion as well mate. Was excited when we signed him but he's just too lightweight for the premiership and doesnt take his man on enough! Hate singling out certain players but i wince when i see his name starting for us, especially with milners form recently, was a big mistake to leave him out.

Re: Jesus Navas, good but.....

Can't think of a top team in world football besides us right now that lacks fast dribblers, it's criminal to not have at least one in today's game. Navas is fast but that's all, he's distinctively average in our league.

What's the stats for the goals please? Navas is a World Cup & European Championship winner mainly cos he's Spanish rather than his blistering international form

Re: Jesus Navas, good but.....

Navas had the ideal opportunity today to show his talent "with west haaaaam playing a narrow diamond in midfield he should have hugged the touch line to create space&stretch fat SAMs side instead he came into a congested area &turned into trouble on countless occasions making pub players like noble look good"incidentally wasn't the full back he was up against booked after7/8 minutes.? So why didn't he attempt to tear him a new posterior for the remaining 80+ minutes milner&kolarov for navas /cliche next sunday !!!

Think it's time we realise it's not that he doesn't want to dribble past his man it's just that he can't do it.

Jesus Navas: 7 goals in 55 games (1 every 7.8 games)
Adam Johnson: 15 goals in 97 games (1 every 6.5 games)

For comparison:

David Silva: 32 goals in 193 games (1 goal every 6.0 games)
James Milner: 10 goals in 156 games (1 goal every 15.6 games)
Samir Nasri: 22 goals in 129 games (1 goal every 5.9 games)

So I'm guessing a pissed up Adam Johnson is better than James Milner too?
