I'm not Navas's biggest fan, but he has been our best player in both of the last two games, and has been pretty solid all season. Disappointing to see him not start tbh,

vs Villa: 12 crosses, 1 completed in the box; 1 completed to the opposite flank, 10 incomplete
vs Seville: 1 completed key pass from a corner
vs Norwich: 7 crosses, 7 incomplete
vs the rags: not on long enough
vs Seville: 7 crosses, one completed
vs Bournemouth: 2 crosses; 2 incomplete

etc etc

That's immediately false. Who set up Sterling for his header? Who set up De Bruyne for his miss?

In fact who's created the most chances for us this season?

Did you make that up

No - it came from Squawka but hey, don't let the facts get in the way of a bad argument

Actually he made three completed crosses from 12 which is a 25% return although one of his completed crosses was to the left wing so it's more like 2 completed in 11 which however you want to dress is up is not very good... and each blind incomplete cross leads to turnover in possession and a chance for the opposition to break.

But yeah, he's been our best player this season

I'm tempted to watch the whole game again to prove that is complete bollocks

You can make stats suit any story. That's because stats provided only half the story.
