Why the fuck do people keep stating that load of bollocks.Nobody thinks he`s world beater but some or most can see he`s more of a nuisance for opposition defenders, who hate a speed merchant. But the bloke works his knackers off, which is more than 8 others did last night. What you see is what you get with Navas,a very good professional, who works like fuck for the team and has the capacity and nous to help out at the back. You should try telling his useless fucking midfield partners to do the same and we`d be pissing this league and last nights game.
Posters are suggesting Navas should currently start ahead of Silva. I disagree. IMO Silva is "world class" and although he is off form since his injury, he should retain his place and let him re-establish full match fitness. I agree Navas works hard and has a good attitude, I wish the likes of Yaya would follow his example.

Not sure who has suggested that. They don't really play in the same position. Navas plays on the wing and Silva should be central.

I assume you mean attacking midfield players as there was no Fernandinho or Delph there. For most games I'd play:

.........Fernandinho...Toure

Navas.........Silva..........Sterling

Sterling would rotate with KDB and Delph would come in for Toure in games where more defensive capabilities are required. As I have said it's not about the best 11 players but the best team and right now I would always include Navas and Fernandinho in that.

Maybe in the future we'll sign better players or find a way to include all of our 'better' players without it damaging us but until then I'm happy with Navas.
Yaya cannot be relied upon to play defensive, if Yaya plays its going forward without major defensive responsibilities.

I just cannot agree that KDB and Sterling would be alternated/rotated. If anything Sterling and Navas could be rotated, but I look at the goals and assisted Sterling has this season over and above Navas.....

You obviously rate Navas, and on his first six months I can see why... He is the consummate professional and a fantastic example for younger kids about how to conduct yourself and work rate but his contributions frustrate the hell out of me!

100% correct !

I think KDB is more effective on the left or central so he would rotate with Sterling (or Silva) who also tend to play left or centrally. I'm not a huge fan of playing Sterling & KDB together at the moment as both tend to lose possession a bit too easily. Ultimately It's about balance and right now Silva, Sterling, KDB as a trio isn't working that well but when Navas replaces one of them we look better balanced.

I'm certainly not saying he is better individually than any of the 3 but we look better when he's playing (to me at least).

I also think for most games the Toure/Fernandinho partnership is fine as the start of the season showed. For tougher games though I'd bring Delph in.

You needn't have added any more than that, to appraise Yaya.
Stupendous at best, but a liability at worst.

Aguero was better, even though he wasn't at his best. Clichy played well too.

Other than scoring Navas did nothing apart from fail to deliver crosses and concede posession, as did most others... sorry but that's the truth.

He speeds up our play, drags a couple of defenders out to give others space in the middle
Is he world class no but has a place in the team that balances us out
He gets such a hard time on here because he doesn't score much but he offers a lot more
