Didn't navas have chronic homesickness for a long time , maybe hitting a decent cross reminds him too much of home ? In all seriousness he is such a frustrating player , but he must be doing something right in training for pellers to have such faith in him.
 
We should just stick raheem out on that wing and ask him to do whatever it is Navas is trying to do. Surely can't do any worse.
 
Whilst he is in the squad and being selected to play, he is good enough. Same goes for all those in the firing line at the moment. Have faith with the management team as they see a lot more than what we do (as well as being far better qualified too).
 
I agree that his crossing is very poor and needs working on which is an understatement to say the least, however we mustn't get carried away with the fact that this is his only job in the team.

In fairness to him he carries the ball out of defence at times very well, turning defence into attack and also does track back a lot with his pace an obvious asset in both of these situations.

I know his crossing and corners are abysmal at times but he also stays out wide which in itself pulls defences out to create gaps to operate.

Let's not be too single minded about why Mr Pellegrini should pick him.

So are the management team right 100% of the time? Replacing jovetic and dzeko with bony should answer that
