First time seen him do that

The example you have shown complete miscue, he usually has to cross low due to Aguero being only one in there or a cut back to the edge of the area neve see him mis kikick those
It was a little joke. But seriously I know you never ever criticise anything to do city but his final ball is 99% of the time dire. I rememeber on saturday he made a great run, the defenders all went to near post Aguero pulled away, all Navas had to do was simply pull it back to Aguero. Instead he does what he always does just plays it straight into the defenders. So frustrating.

Just guess I'm the exact opposite to you, you don't create 79 chances in a season if your final ball is 99% shit. Think he frustrates the life out of most but some of the comments on here a a "joke"

Navas is not a bad player at all but everything about him serves the purpose of a plan B and not a plan A. Roberts needs to be given a chance
Absolutely spot on. Navas Is the ideal player to have to see a game out. If Silva is still out, I'd be seriously considering giving him a chance

Nosense. Why did we sign him then or even not loan him out for that matter . It all begins with being given a chance look at Bellerin keeping Debuchy out of AFC team.

Yes...a chance sure wouldn't hurt. If he does well against Sunderland, starting him instaed of Navas vs Spurs wouldn't be too bad a risk to take and who knows, the kid might just do a Bellerin....

If we want someone in who is a better crosser I'm not convinced Roberts is the answer. I'm far from a Roberts expert however I did watch the U19 City v Juventus game. Roberts was City's best player, I thought he was superb, however he didn't go past on the outside and cross the ball all that often. His "go to" move was running more directly towards goal, and coming infield. If anything he needed to look up and pass the ball a bit more as, at times, he was too selfish.
IF he manages to produce something close to what he did vs Juve, against Sunderland, then we'd benefit immensely regardless of how few his 'going past on the outside and crossing' moves were. The big 'if' though would be whether he'd be able to deliver on the big stage. Be that as it may, I think he deserves a fair chance.
