And please nobody else tell me about how much hard work he puts in and how much pace he's got because it all adds up to 4 goals and one assist in two seasons , stats that even shocked me . . . Coincidence Spain have became a bit shite compared to how they were? Probably. But it's a strange one. He'd offer even them something different, why he's ignored when the team are (by their standards) struggling a bit is beyond me.

Buy a Nasri type player and the game slows down again. We wanted sterling for ages to have pace and a direct approach on each side so I assume that's still the case. If so, then who's available that's as good as or better than Navas that's a similar type of player?

if navas could cross a ball to a blue shirt , he would be a world beater , what i dont understand , is we can all see his deficiencies , then why cant MP and his coaching staff , and work on this in training , cant fault his approach play and work ethic , but it amounts to f*ck all if he cant improve his crossing .Very frustrating player , because he is a potential world class winger , but at nearly 30years old , can he change ?

He can change but does he want to? If I remember he did use to score goals a couple seasons ago. I don't know what happened but he has the energy to play for several more years but he is really becoming wasteful. Definitely should not be starting most games IMO.
