I'd love to know what they do with him in training regarding his finishing. If he could just sort out that part of his game I agree that he would be a top player...and I would love to see him score a few great goals....starting next weekend!!!!!.

Maybe, we should give him penalties ;-)

It's simply in peoples system to slag him off at any opportunity. The guy isn't a finisher but to sample out his miss after rounding the goalkeeper when he actually played yet another good game (he hardly ever gets a poor one) is imo harsh.

Yet as many do look at the incident Navas rounded the goallie the same way he did at Palace. Fluffing it with his left foot then, it might have made him realize in a split second to use his right foot and therefore left time for the keeper to track back.

He had another good game and I think his attitude is fantastic. He never hides despite his errant finishing. His coaching regime should include 'left foot only' spells. He has more than earned his place in our starting 11.

He has been good this season and definitely brings a lot to the team. The problem is against most of the league we can get away with missing chances, in the big matches though you might only get 1 or 2, if they fall to Navas then we're screwed. The miss yesterday was horrible, no player at this level should do that, indefensible really. Excellent general play, but one big and important flaw. All the attacking players in our team should be contributing goals.

Yes I am afraid I have to agree. Gives so much to the team but goes to pieces at the crucial moment. What a pity as he always gives 100%. I watched him warm up at half time in the Newcastle game and was impressed with his professionalism. Maybe we need to buy him some time with a top sports psychologist as I think it's in his head rather than a dodgy left peg. Keep the faith

Think he has been excellent for us this season, agree his big issue is his complete inability to use his left foot, just wish him and Aleks could swap a foot with each other
Ironically he didn't even need to use his left foot on saturday, could easily have tapped it in with the outside of his right.
