I hate this Paris mess, as a lefty i understand that it's right wing politics that will be the big winner, and i bet there are plenty of politicians who expect to make a gain on this event. The talk of revennge in this regard doesn't sit well with me neither knowing what we already have done in the Middle East and how few we think about what we do there in the west.

The thing is though that many a coman person won't care to much about that Paris event, unless you take away his football! Belgian politicians are probably counting on the average football fan being pissed about this and thus being more cross with IS too. Poppulist political BS.

Is France going to cancel it's Friendly with England? I thought not, right?

I'm sure mainland Europe is a totally different problem to England security wise, and I'm sure they Spanish and Belgium fas just have to do what they are told in this instance. Imagine how everyone would feel if the Brussels game went ahead there was a 2nd attack there, in hindsight everyone would say we should have cancelled the friendly game. I'm not saying we should cower in fear of terror but I am saying we should be wise

They might be planning an attack on the Etihad this decade, maybe wise to close shop until 2020.

Otoh they could also ramp up security significantly.
 
And kdb is a great player, my dad reins he's like Colin bell but I'm a little too young to appreciate Colin the King. Except for YouTube clips etc
 
I am just pleased he is coming back early and not injured

As for not playing the game it seems to have come from the police as there are Belgium links to the Paris attack

As I said I think Europe has totally different security problems to England, so I doubt we have anywhere near those kind of issues. And btw I know you're just being flippant for the sake of it. Its like my Mrs is worried that our house will get burgled because the neighbours have been in recent years, but I always tell her if I was a burglar I would opt for the best chance of success and burgle the house that was the least protected by high walls, security alarm etc etc, so all we have to be is less attractive than our neighbours and we won't get our TVnicked and our wooden floor shat on.

Lampard just said KDB had an amazing game. I don't see how those saying otherwise single him out over clueless fucking Mango and over the hill MDM (not his fault but true)
 
Remember when some fans on here were saying he's better than David Silva?! Bwaaahahaha! Football fans, bloody hell.
 
One of our best perfomers. Can't believe anybody could single him out after the match. Constantly buzzing around and whipped in some brilliant balls.
 
I'm a big fan but today was not his finest hour. Hid a little when the going got tough (he wasn't alone in this but I hoped he'd try to drive us on) & has a tendency to "turtle neck" when going up for headers. Wasn't the worst today by a long shot but has definitely gone off the boil from his initial few weeks
